So this is what my progress should look like (more or less, because I actually started the diet on the 07th). It looks promising, specially since I should be in tip top shape for Husband's birthday! Speaking of the devil, he is the reason why I am posting again today....
He travels a lot and that increases my anxiety. Mainly because I am left home alone with B, and since we have no family in the UK, and just a few good colleagues, I don't really have a very exciting social life to keep me going.
Yesterday, my sister-in-law's husband had open heart surgery. Being away from them makes me very upset. Even though I know she has all the support from her daughters and his daughters (6 in total!!!), I wish I was there. There being the Netherlands.
All this makes me wanna eat things I shouldn't... Like bread, and cake, and a muffin. I not even like muffins! I never eat muffins! But I am dying for one right now.
So, there I was, struggling with myself, when I thought to put this blog to good use: help me with the diet!
So, let's see what I had today.
Breakfast
My everyday breakfast so far consist of oat brain pancake and a cup of black coffee. I usually only have coffee and toast, so I am OK with it. Plus, it actually fills me up so I don't need to have a snack in the morning.
Lunch
I try to vary as much as possible. Had meatloaf today. I never cooked meatloaf before, and I am so proud, it was delicious! I had seconds and B had seconds (he had rice as well). Husband is travelling, but he would definitely have eaten all the rest had he been home.
And then, I had my coffee pudding.
Afternoon snack
I had to eat some more of this meatloaf. As B said: yum yum!
And a small cup of non fat yoghurt.
For dinner I am planning a omelet with the rest of the chicken I cooked last night. I took half away before seasoning with the tikka spices and the yoghurt.
So, this is pretty much it.... Writing does help me calm down.
Tried to go to Wepre Park earlier this afternoon, and we were enjoying ourselves when it started raining. I don't usually mind if I go for walks alone, but better watch it when you have your 3 year old with you. Besides, it's so windy.... Don't want my baby to get ill.
