Day 9

Weight 67,6kg

Ok, the great thing about Clean is that it really cleans your body. Naturally! I keep going to the toillet quite a lot - welcoming change from Dukan, if you, like me, don't like to take medicines.

Breakfast: Almond milk + apple + strawberries + almonds
Snack: Hot cocoa + gluten free pita bread
Lunch: Green salad with olives, tomato, basil and seafood sticks and olive oil

Day 8

Yesterday, I had the worst migraine! Ever! So much so, that I took two ibuprofen (apart from my thyroxin, I haven’t taken any other medication for months). It was so bad, that even though I was falling asleep, I couldn’t actually do it because the pain was unbearable.
Feeling much better today, but still feeling that heaviness, like it is not completely over.
So, breakfast was mango smoothie with almond milk and almonds
Snack: almond milk with cocoa and 1 gluten free pita bread
Lunch: extra-lean-mince-home-made-burgers with sweet potato, cauliflower, aubergine and sweet peppers (and one little dash of coconut cream)
Couldn't eat when I got home. The weather is just weird today.... Although it's my perfect temperature (25 celsius) it's just very heavy. Or maybe it was just our office, I don't know.
So, I have snacked on some nuts and went to the gym.
45 min spinning (Love it)

When I got home, still couldn't eat.... So here I am, 1 hour later, having a hot cocoa (almond milk) and a large gluten free pita bread with organic humous.

PS: My weight today just made me wish to dissapear.... 68.3kg! :(
PPS: I haven't added here all I ate this weekend.... I keep thinking it's not like I am eating that much, but clearly I am!

DAY 7

No weigh in today... I've had my period and feel like I weigh 3 kilos more!
Weekend was not great either. I would say I did very well during the day, but kind of went all wrong at night! Don't want to have the results staring at my face right now.

Anyway, today I started Clean for 2 weeks.
In exactly 2 weeks time, I will be joinnig Trimmer You boot camp for 4 days, and the earlier I get rid of anything processed in my system the better. I have been in a boot camp before and the shock of cutting coffee and sugar was just too much. Something you definitely don't need to add to your hours and hours of exercise!
I am having a horrible headache (so much so that I am thinking about going home), but I know I will be OK in a couple of days.

Breakfast: Smoothie - mango with strawberries and almond milk
Lunch: Turkey breast with gluten free pasta, cauliflower, sweet pepper and coconut cream (1 spoon)
Lots of water (not doing well today)
Dinner was vegetable soup (our au pair made it, and I didn't really asked what was on it.... but she knows I am on Clean)
Snack: hot almond milk with cocoa and 1 gluten free pita bread - I wasn't really hungry, but didn't have that migraine for years.... Thought maybe I needed to eat something, which wasn't the case. Actually what happened was that I started to feel sick. Had to lie very still to keep it all in.

Day 4

Ha! 67,2kg.... Haven't been on the green tea today though.... Will do it tomorrow!
Breakfast as usual
Lunch was a bit of a challenge because I never came home untill just now. So I had seafood sticks and looooaaaads of coffee! That was the only thing I could get hold off

Day 3

Can't really say my idea worked.... Because I cheated BIG time!!!
A whole pack of pistachio macaroons and 2 chocolates!!! And a pack of rice crisps.... WTF!?
Now I put this in writing I realize how ridiculous that is! And all that after the gorgeous dinner I had!
I did 45 min of extreme spinning though.... hahaha

And the result of last night is: 68kg
Why do I keep doing this to myself? I know all about tackling your issues with food first before you go on a diet, but the truth is, even though I do recognize these issues, I do nothing to come to terms with them.

My clothes don't fit, and I am not willing to buy bigger clothes. So, every morning when I am getting dressed to work, even though I have a full wardrobe, I have very few choices! And I hate this!
It makes me start my day in such a bad mood...... Well, I AM doing this to myself, right?
I am not setting myself realistic goals.... I will just keep my head down and follow the diet as I should. And I need to allow time for this diet to work.... Ooooohhhh, it would just be so great if I could lose 5 kg in a week!

So, here goes nothing...

Breakfast: oat bran pancake with cottage cheese and turkey ham + black coffee
Lunch: Fresh tuna (it was great) + 1 boiled egg + 4 seafood sticks

Started my day too early.... Woke up at 5 and had breakfast 6h. By 10:00h I was starving. Managed to hold on till 11h and that's when I had my lunch today.

Had a natural yoghurt with prunes in the afternoon. Omelette AGAIN for dinner! Will definitely organize my menu tomorrow (It is official! I have Fridays off from now on. Yay!)

1h combat aerobics - really, really tough routine.
Almost didn't go actually... My period is about to come and as usual I don't feel too great (yes, yes, that's probably the reason for my last night binge). Happy I did it though. Always feel great after some exercise.

Night snack: almond milk with 1/2 teaspoon cocoa powder and 2 oatbran biscuits with fat free cheese

Decision: will carry on attack phase for another 2 days, then a PV day. Will try to go on like this: 3xPP folowed by 1xPV - just for this week whille husband is travelling and I can push a little bit. When he is home I enjoy sitting down for dinner with him.... Eating vegetables makes it easier :)

Tomorrow will try to replace water with green tea (Dr Dukan tip). Let's see if it helps me.

Finger crossed!

Day 2

Weight: 67,6kg
Breakfast: oat bran pancake with cottage cheese and turkey ham + black coffee
Lunch: green salad with smoked salmon and seafood sticks
Snack: low fat yoghurt with prunes
Dinner: tuna and baked sweet potato

I know... Not really an usual attack day, nor a propper PV day but things are not working as they should (meaning: not going to the toillet). I just decided I will not take this **** (hahaha), hence my slight twist on the diet. One day PP followed by one day PV with some starchy vegetables. It should work!

Tuesday 11 June 2013

Back to Day 1

We travelled for the weekend and yes, of course I could have done something about my diet, but I didn't! And the result is that I am back at Day 1.

So, weight this morning: 68.5kg
Breakfast: Bran flakes with almond milk and black coffee
Morning snack (I needed it! Dog ate most of my flakes, and I already had a tiny bowl anyway): natural yoghurt with prunes - love it!!!!
For lunch I have brought cottage cheese omelette and seafood sticks... Not sure yet what I will have for dinner

This week I am back to the gym and I hope to see some faster results!!!

Little update: My day at work is not going great.... Nothing really wrong, I am just bored! Most of my days are quite busy and I like that! I need that! But today is sooooo quiet, if I wasn't the boss's wife I would think I am about to lose my job.

Second update:
Dinner: minced meat with eggs and cottage  cheese

So, as a result of the very, very slow day, I can't stop thinking about the food!
